If you want to spice up your wardrobe you might consider incorporating new shades into it. Purple may not be your first choice in a new outfit but it’s worth considering. Because of the vibrant shades of purple clothing, it is known to make a statement which is why many people choose to wear the color.

If put together correctly it can be a big hit with many fashion trends. Things you want to stay away from when deciding to wear purple clothing is mixing other bright colors along with it. If you decide to wear a purple shirt, stay away from pink or blue bottoms, and wear something dark like a black or brown color.

If you decide to wear a bright shade, tone it down as much as possible with darker accessories or a dark over coat. And on the other hand, if you plan on wearing darker purple clothing, brightening it up with some white or cream colors can do wonders! The colors that would go best with purple are black, brown, cream, beige, white, or even tan. But when it comes to putting other colors in the mix, do not be surprised if the fashion police decide to issue you a citation.

Seriously though, who wants to be the laughing stock of the workplace because they chose the wrong colors to go with their purple clothing? It is possible to accent other colored clothing with hints of purple if you insist on wearing the color. Using purple scarves or pins, even earrings can brighten up just about any wardrobe. With this in mind, you wouldn’t want to wear purple socks with an outfit when you are already wearing a violet shirt and pants. This just reeks of being tacky.

So make sure to throw the purple socks and shoes away, and even do away with the full on purple outfits. Use small pieces of purple clothing to brighten up your wardrobe, and this will ensure that your style is not visually abusive to others. If you accent with purple clothing, you won’t go wrong!

Purple is a beautiful color, and even men should not shy away from it. It is when the color gets used too much that makes the thought not so intriguing anymore. So when you go to buy clothing, keep the color purple in mind. Buy some separates to help add color and spice to your wardrobe and be proud of the purple clothing you do choose to stylishly wear!
